Beach View Hotel is located in Paynes Bay, St. James, on the West Coast of Barbados. Less than 10 minutes away is Holetown, the island’s second largest town, where you can find great shopping facilities, restaurants, banks, supermarkets and nightlife. Bridgetown, the island’s capital, is just 15 minutes away. Warrens is just a 10 minute drive.
Beach View Hotel opened in December 2008 as a 36-unit condo hotel. In 2018, we expanded onto the adjoining land & added 19 new units as well as a host of new amenities including 2 new pools, a new reception building, full-service restaurant, spa & salon & fitness centre.

We offer a pre-arrival grocery stocking service, just email [email protected] to place an order. The Hut on property also sells a variety of groceries & sundries. Alternatively, there is a large supermarket, Massy, in Holetown, a 10-minute drive from Beach View. There is also a mini mart in walking distance.

Royal Westmoreland – a 15 minute drive from Beach View.
The Barbados Golf Club is also available to the public and located on the South Coast at Durants, approximately 35 minutes away.
Beach View is located on the West Coast of the island – the Caribbean Sea. The waters are very calm and safe for swimming and snorkelling. At certain times of the year however, the current can become stronger than normal and regular caution should be taken at all times.

All units are equipped with stacked washer and dryers as well as an iron and board. Dry cleaning facilities and a laundry service are available at an additional charge through reception.
All suites & villas at Beach View feature full kitchens complete with dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, oven, fridge & freezer with ice maker, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and a number of other appliances.
Hotel Rooms feature a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker & under-counter fridge.
Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to arrival date will receive a full refund on their deposit. For bookings during the period 20 December – 8 January, deposits are refundable if cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival. Refunds are not offered for no-shows or early checkouts.
Flexible Covid-19 Policy for cancellations received within the cancellation period: If there is a government-imposed lockdown or a member of your party receives a Covid-19 positive test result, then the reservation can be rebooked for travel within one year. A medical certificate must be submitted for positive results. Any rate difference will be payable for the new dates. Rebooked reservations are non-refundable.
Beach View strongly advocates the purchase of Travel Insurance in order to minimize any potential financial loss, as the company is under no legal obligation to offer any form of compensation related to any storm event.
The following policy is offered as a gesture of goodwill and without prejudice and applies to the hotel portion of the stay only. The policy and procedures will take effect if a hurricane watch (48 hours in advance of a possible hurricane) is issued for the island.
On property guests:
If guests choose to leave the hotel, a hotel credit valid for travel July 15 – December 15 will be issued for the number of nights interrupted – in no circumstances will a cash credit be issued.
In the event that guests are forced to extend their stay due to storm related flight delays, the hotel will continue to offer the nightly rate on which the guest is booked for each extended night to be paid in full upon departure.
For guests who are unable to arrive due to flight cancellation, hotel closure or flight delays related to the storm/hurricane the following options will be offered:

The hotel may, at its sole discretion, require that all arriving guests reschedule their visit until after the storm has passed. Should such notification be issued a full (Hotel Only) credit will be authorised for travel July 15 through December 15. The hotel will guarantee the original rate (and category, if available).
Arriving guests who elect to arrive, despite our announcement to the contrary, do so with the implicit understanding that no compensation will be forthcoming for any disruption of services and/or inclusions which may occur as a result of the storm.
