Barbados is a small island, with no shortage of fantastic restaurants around.
Around Beach View, in easy walking distance you’ll find:
One of the trendiest spots in Barbados is the site of the famous Cliff Restaurant. Currently undergoing a major renovation & reopening late 2021 with a Michelin star chef. Just across the road from Beach View, we can’t wait!
Several casual, local options include Cariba, Mr. Vic, De Clay Oven & The Roti Den for grab & go – Rotis are a favourite local dish & must be tried! There’s also an ice cream shop & takeaway options, even a weekend fish fry at our local fish market. On Sundays, just up the hill, you’ll find The Holder’s Farmer’s Market for local foods, crafts & produce.
Where else to eat, drink & chill
Dining with your toes in the sand is one of our favourite things to do. We recommend La Cabane in Batts Rock for just this. It’s just a 5-minute drive from Beach View, offering great food & great vibes. Our other top choice is Sea Shed in Mullins, about a 15-minute drive. The ultimate in beach chic. Lunch, sundowners, or dinner, neither will disappoint.
The beach bar lifestyle doesn’t stop there, head to Juju’s at Alleyne’s Bay (10 minutes north) for casual lunch, chilling on the beach and a rum punch that will knock you for six. Just next door, the ultra-chic Lonestar Restaurant is worth a visit & you may rub elbows with a celebrity or two.
The beach lifestyle in Barbados will have you applying for Bajan residency before sundown.
